PART III OBJECTIVE 2: ENERGY CONSERVATION
Students decorated light plates and made reminder stickers to help all of us remember to turn off the lights. 2011-2013 school years.
Students in each class take turns as light monitor and energy monitor. More reminders to turn off the lights and all the electrical items.
In an effort to reduce energy consumption, James Johnson, our custodian, assisted in delamping the flourescent fixtures in the hallways. A total of 60 bulbs were removed.
Kindergarten students learned a lesson about energy conservation.
Fall 2012
Students learned a valuable lesson about how walking can reduce energy consumption. They saved gas and reduced greenhouse emissions by walking to the library on a field trip.
